***Due to the insane amount of snow and dangerous road conditions, we are postponing tonight’s MO Stomp Fest at Rose to Friday, March 22 and MO Hip-Hop Fest at The Blue Note to Saturday, March 23. HOWEVER — Also due to the insane amount of snow, Rose Park looks like a magical winter wonderland….so we’re throwing our first ever SNOW FEST this Sunday January 13th starring Missouri’s own THE KAY BROTHERS! Doors open at 2PM….band starts at 4pm. We’ll have the biggest snowball fight the city of Columbia has ever seen. We’ll have a big-ass bonfire, a snowman contest for cash prizes, cozy cocktails, and Pepe will be along slinging some firey tacos to warm the soul. So if you find yourself motivated to travel through all seven levels of the Candy Cane forest and through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops, come on down at party with us for a Sunday Funday like you’ve never seen before!
Tickets purchased for the shows will be honored at the new dates. If you wish to request a refund, please call Etix at 1-800-514-3849 if you purchased your tickets using a credit card, refunds for tickets purchased with cash will be available at the point of purchase.***
The Ozarks are renown as the home of hillbilly culture. This heritage, passed down from generation to generation, is one of our richest natural resources. Its not ‘something in the water’ – its ‘history.’ Plain and simple. As such, we have the real deal when it comes to Ozark music: The result of country, bluegrass, and old time fiddle music, all flash fried in a skillet of Blues as it crossed the Mississippi river and soaked into this very land. It resonates with the red clay beneath our feet just like it did with our grandfathers’ grandfathers. That itch to stomp your feet is far more than just the beer talkin. Its in our blood. Missouri is probably the only place that knows fiddles & harmonicas & banjos are best served with a 4-on-the-floor drum beat, and that’s something to celebrate!
