Our house policy is no flashes, no detachable lenses, no professional rigs,
and no audio or video recording. This is subject to change as our artists have
their own policies that we are obliged to follow.

If I leave can I come back in?

We reserve the right to enforce a no minor re-entry policy: if you are under
21 and leave the building, you will not be re-admitted. If you are over the
age of 21, you are free to come and go as you please as long as you are still
wearing the colored wristband you were given upon entry (as proof of ticket
purchase).

I want to bring my kid to a show, do they need a ticket?

Our policy is children age 2 and under in arms do not need a ticket.
Occasionally specific shows might have their individual policies which would
supersede our venue policy. These instances would be indicated on the ticket
link. We also strongly recommend a form of protective ear covers to protect
your kiddo’s sensitive ears.

Can I smoke in the venue?

Under City of Columbia Ordinance # 19252, “the possession of lighted smoking
materials in any form is prohibited in all enclosed public places and enclosed
places of employment in Columbia.” So, no. No E-cigs or vapor either. We have
a huge patio and beautiful park outside though where you can smoke.

Are your shows assigned seating?

Typically they’re all general admission. Every once in a while we’ll have a
seated show with assigned seats.

I’m under 21, can I come in?

Any guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times unless the show is listed as “All Ages.” If you have any further questions on this, please contact info@thebluenote.com

accessible?

spot to watch the show, just give us a call: 573.874.1944.
